Nelly taps into her Latin roots in the enchanting video for “Waiting for the Night”, the latest single off her album The Spirit Indestructible. The Canadian singer lights up the screen as she tangos in a dancehall and shows off her exotic beauty in the black-and-white clip, which may remind you of her Folklore days.

With the release of her debut album Whoa! Nelly, BC’s Nelly Furtado was thrust into the spotlight and a career that saw her achieve music super stardom in both the English and Latin music world. But Furtado’s success didn’t come overnight, nor was it a path paved with gold. In this clip from Sunday’s brand new episode of In Sixty, Furtado talks about about moving from her hometown of Victoria, BC to Toronto at the age of 17 and getting a big reality check about the music industry.
